Next day Gudiya's brother and other family members were trying to convince her that she should not file a complaint .. Her brother said they will make his uncle to write a letter in which he will make sure that he ( uncle ) will not enter their house and apologize for his rubbish behavior. But Gudiya did not want this because she knew that his uncle is like a dog's tail ..he will not improve.
Somehow under a pressure gudiya took her complaint back but after getting apologizing letter from her uncle and she also told the inspector that if anything happens to her in future then her uncle will be the sole responsible for this. Police gave her the contact numbers and complaint number too so that in future if her uncle creates any trouble then she can use these numbers to put his uncle behind the bars.
But still she was upset with her father ..she was unable to understand that what kind of blood relation is this which stops her father to take any action against her uncle. She started hating such society rules and norms. She went to her cousin's place for few days. Those were the best relaxing days for her after getting so much shit .Once again life came back on track . After coming back her father started talking about her wedding. This is the crucial time. Her stupid aunt started planning to ruin her wedding proposal by influencing the guy. But that guy was intelligent enough to guess out the things. Gudiya already told him about her uncle and aunt's ill behavior.
Her wedding date got fixed. She was happy and nervous too because she wanted everything to be alright. Things went well.. As usual out of brotherhood her father invited his brother ( that douche uncle) at Gudiya's wedding. But Gudiya was strong headed enough to avoid such jerk.
Everything went good.. she tied a knot with her guy in a grand ceremony and bid a goodbye to her family. In her family she learned so many things. It is because of their ill behavior with her mother and her uncle's behavior with her she become strong headed. She knew that One who accepts to suffer the crime is equally a criminal as the criminal himself.

After listening all the bullshit of her uncle Gudiya decided to call the police . She called women helpline number and filed her complaint against her uncle who tried to hit her and abused her. She told her brother and father too about her decision. Within half an hour local police called her and ask the details and took the address. It was a night time. They came to took her statement ..she was waiting for them but at that time too her father was like she will give her statement in morning. He was simply thinking about the society that what will people say if she will file a permanent statement. This is the common problem in Indian people that they usually think about the social reputation . Even those policemen were like is it your final decision that you want to lodge a complaint ?? They kept on saying that you are from a reputed family so you should think once blah blah.Those police men note down the simple statement in 3-4 lines and said they will come in morning for the permanent statement .
Gudiya was shocked by her father's behavior . Still he was thinking about society and his brother ( gudiya's uncle ) . She came in her room and the entire night she was thinking about the whole incident . She was unable to sleep and waiting for the morning . Next morning she called up the local police men and asked about their timings. They said that some minister is coming so we will come in evening. After that Gudiya's nephew and niece went out of the house to play .. suddenly they came back and told gudiya that Uncle is abusing them in street and forced them to go into the house. Gudiya told her brother and bhabhi about this. Gudiya mailed the whole incident to the police commisioner and some other important persons too. She also called the local SHO.
Still she was waiting for giving the permanent statement . She also consulted a lawyer . Till evening no one came. Her father was still like that you should take back your complaint . Gudiya was not ready at any cost. Her aunty came and created a scene at her house and threaten that she will tear off her clothes and will put false implications on Gudiya's brother. Her aunt was a bitch . It was her who always pushed her husband for fighting with Gudiya's family.
Gudiya filed a complaint against her paternal uncle. Yes finally she did it. After going through so much mental and emotional pain , she decided to stop all this bullshit from her uncle. He used to tease her, stalk her , blaming her , spreading bad rumors about her, threatening her and poking his nose in her family . Everything is mentioned in details in previous posts.
One evening Gudiya's nephew and niece were playing on the terrace. Her uncle came to the adjoining terrace and started abusing them for no reason . Kids started crying and came to Gudiya. She felt very bad and went to her grandmother along with her brother's wife. They told their grandmother about the incident. While they were talking ..suddenly her uncle came and started abusing them very badly . Gudiya and her bhabhi were stunned by this. They told him to stop abusing but he started saying more bad words and threatening them by saying that i will kill everyone..i will put a false case on you guys..as he was in police force. He said go away from here, Gudiya said its their house and they will not go anywhere. As he was living separately in his own house under property division. Suddenly he came forward and picked up the iron chair to hit Gudiya and her bhabhi. Gudiya's mobile was in her hand and she on the video mode. But when her uncle tried to hit them that mobile fell down from her hand. Somehow she stopped her uncle by facing him bravely. He went away by saying bad words that i will see you ..i will ruin you.
Gudiya called her brother and told the whole incident . He came to home . At that time too her grandmother was taking the side of that douche uncle. Again that douche came and called gudiya's father which was his elder brother and abused him too . When her father came home he started saying stupid things that your kids and daughter in law are responsible for everything..i will not leave them like this .. i will see how they live peacefully.. I will put a false charges on you ...your daughter do this and that . Then Gudiya's father told him that its none of your business what my kids do or did.
Gudiya was listening all this and she was shocked by the whole incident . This time it was too much . She thought if this time she won't say anything then it will be too late. This was the time to raise her voice. It was a matter of her Respect. He abused her , stalked her , teased her , tried to hit her , spread bad rumors about her, threatened her . What else one can do bad than this to his own blood of family.

Gudiya's father stopped her from filing any complaint against her uncle due to their respect in society etc. But she was so full of anger at that time. Her brother calmed her down and supported her. Later on her uncle and aunt became more jealous and started planning and plotting against Gudiya and her family. Forcefully they took 15 lac on the name of Gudiya's grandmother from gudiya's father. And later on they kept that money in their own personal account and refused to give that money to Gudiya's grandmother. Still that old lady was with them ( uncle and aunt) because of her evil nature. Her grandmother was all about money. Her grandmother lived her life in a dictator way. She was the dictator of the house. It was just because of her Sarita's suffered a lot and now everyone else is also suffering. That old lady did not like the any other lady in the house. Thats why she always mistreated Sarita and her daughter Gudiya.
Now Gudiya's two uncles and aunts along with grandmother were on one side and Gudiya and her father and brother on one side. Even after all these incidents her uncle who was in police force did not stopped to poke his nose in their home. Like a shameless creature he used to come at her home and gudiya's father did not stopped him. Gudiya was really upset because of his father's approach towards his brother ( Gudiya's uncle). I think it was all because of Indian society's norms and moral values that her father was quiet. But what is wrong is wrong. Gudiya used to call spade, a spade . After sometime Her father found a good match for her. Now again her uncle and aunt started to planning bad things against her. Her aunt stared stalking that guy too which gudiya's father found for her. I think anyone can understand that why she was doing all this. Her aunt was a very cunning lady. Gudiya's cousins , her first uncle's kids were also very cunning . It was all about the upbringing . They also became like their parents,bad and evil. They also started doing the same stuff along with her aunt.
One fine day Gudiya raised up her voice and filed a complaint against her uncle.. what was the reason ?? and what happend after that ??For that wait for my next post .

Later on Gudiya's life was going on with little up and downs. In those exams she did not make for merit list because of stress and tensions. But still she managed to get good marks. During those days, on one fine day she suddenly collapsed. She was going through severe headaches. According to doctors it was migraine. Her friends always made her laugh and keep her engaged in other activities in college. She was doing well but on the other hand in family nothing was good for her. Her grand mother and uncles treated her very badly. They used to curse her without any reason. Her uncles ( father's brothers ) were living separately through family dispute. But still they used to poke their nose in her house. Her father was the eldest among three brothers. Rest of the two were no less than a devil. They were after money. Her father did a lot for them. He send one of them to abroad and other one in police force. But as we all know money can make anyone blind. They separated themselves from him after taking the property.
There is no end of greediness for greedy people and this was what same with her both uncles. They were not happy to see the settled family of Gudiya's father. Her uncle who was in police force used to touch her in a bad way in her childhood. At that time she was not aware about this thing. But later on she realized the real matter and started to hate him. After her mother's death Gudiya decided to be brave to face those douches. She boycotted them. Out of jealousy and hate that uncle started spreading bad airs about her in front of her father and other people too. She avoided it so many times . Later on her aunt ( that uncle's wife ) also started doing the same. That aunt was into black magic type of stuff. She did many things. But whom so ever is protected by God, no one can kill or harm them. God saved Gudiya so many times.
Her uncles and grandmother were on one side. After Sarita's death Gudiya's father realized his mistake. He started feeling guilty about his bad behavior with Gudiya's mother. But what was gone was gone. Those people formed a one group against Gudiya's father and her family too. Now her father was seeing their real faces. But he did not said anything to them due to respect . Her uncle and aunt started stalking her family. That uncle used to misbehave with Gudiya's nephew and nieces too. One day Gudiya stopped him by doing all this very calmly. But he started abusing her very badly, I cannot even write those words here. He abused her in all possible way and with all the bad words, beyond imagination. Still her father did not said anything to him. That day Gudiya was shattered from inside. She faced him bravely and told him not to abuse .He threatened her that i will kill you ..i will see who will marry you ..i will make your life hell etc and went away. Gudiya asked her father that why you did not speak and to surprise he said why you stopped him from doing anything to kids. She was shocked and bursted into tears. And started blaming his father for everything and decided to file a complaint against her uncle and to leave the house too.

Sarita was gone and Gudiya was all alone..lost in her mother's memories. Her mother took a piece of her with her. Somehow Gudiya started her life again. She continued with her studies. At that time she was doing her Master's degree. She got a very good friends and they helped her to feel good. The time which she used to spend in a college was very good for her but as soon as she comes home..she feels left alone. She used to miss her a lot and sit alone in the room. No one from her family supported her emotionally . Still everything in that room reminds her of her mother. Gudiya was totally upset..so many things used to run in her mind. She wrote something on that situation -
WHY MOTHER DOESN'T SPEAK??
My eyes cried
My heart also cried
Why you don't speak?
What happened to my mother?
Why my father is shedding tears?
Why brother is consoling me and hugging me?
Gudiya is saying that don't make noise, My mother is sleeping.
She was so kind and graceful , she always asked about others well being.
Now she is going with people on bier.
She gave me so much love and care.
Today my brother is putting fire to her bier.
You never left me alone my dear MOTHER.
Where are you going today ??
No one has idea about my condition after seeing her burning.
Why God did this to me?
May be she is at better place now.

After one month her final exams came. She was not able to concentrate on her studies. Somehow she managed and gave the exams. Her teachers had a very hopes from her. Because she was a merit holder from her school days. But Something else was waiting for her..

Hello guys .. today i am going start with Gudiya's life story after her mother Sarita's death. To understand this story you should read my last story which is '35 years a slave' . This story is interlinked with the last one. Like my last real story , this time i will not write it in chapters. I will write it in a free way .
In jan,2010..after Sarita's death , Gudiya was totally shattered. It was kind of a mental shock for her. Because it was only her mother with whom she spend her 23 years. She shared everything with her mother. She was her best friend. They were living happily in their small world. But this tragedy swiped everything. Smile on Gudiya's face was gone. She was sitting like a stone with her mother's dead body. She was crying like a hell and all of sudden she stopped crying. She was staring at her mother's body. When ladies start changing her mother's cloth , Gudiya just went away. They hold gudiya and took her to her mother's body for the last visit. Gudiya was not ready to say good bye to her mother for forever. At cremation ground Gudiya stopped his brother to lit fire to her mother's body. Her father hold her tightly. From that very day to till now Gudiya is unable to come up from that deep down sorrow and memories.
After coming home ..all the relatives were faking their emotions. Those were the people who never supported Sarita when she was alive. Gudiya was hating that moment . It was not her mother's illness ( cancer ) who killed Sarita. It was the ignorance, lack of support , lack of love. unimaginable beating and bad behavior by Sarita's in laws who killed her. For Gudiya it was her grand mother, her uncles and father were responsible for her mother's death. Sarita's death did not make any difference to her in laws. It was only Gudiya, who was all alone ..alone from inside..that emptiness ..it is still with Gudiya....
